SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – For the fifth consecutive year, the annual UC Santa Barbara-Cal Poly matchup at Harder Stadium will be televised by Fox Sports Prime Ticket, announced by the Big West Conference earlier this Fall.
The game is set for this Saturday, Oct. 14 at 7:00 p.m.
Last year's battle drew an NCAA single-game high with 11,424 fans, and the Gauchos have led the nation in average home attendance nine times in the last ten seasons.
Historically, the annual Blue-Green Rivalry games - one at UCSB and one at Cal Poly - have been the two-best attended men's soccer games NCAA-wide for five straight seasons, and overall the matchups now comprise 13 of the top 17 best-attended regular season campus games in Division I history.
Prime Ticket can be viewed locally on Cox Cable channels 36 and 1036 (standard definition and HD, respectively), DirecTV channel 693, and Dish Network channel 411.
In addition to telecast coverage on Prime Ticket, all games on the regional sports network will also be available on FOX Sports GO. The FOX Sports GO app is currently available for iOS, Apple TV, Android, Android TV, Fire tablets and Fire phones, Roku players and Roku TV, select Windows devices, and online at FOXSportsGO.com. Fans can download the mobile app for free from the iTunes App Store, Google Play, Amazon App Store and Windows Store.
UCSB (5-4-3, 3-0-1 Big West) is riding a six-game unbeaten streak and concludes a three-game road trip this Wednesday, Oct. 11 with the start of North Division play against UC Davis at 4:00 p.m.
