SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Despite the closure of the 101 freeway, due to catastrophic mudslides in Montecito, the UC Santa Barbara women's basketball team will play at CSUN on Thursday night at 7:00 p.m., as scheduled.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the 101 freeway is expected to be closed until Monday, Jan. 15 and alternative routes such as the I-5, train and boat are available. For all up to date traffic and evacuation information, please click here.
UCSB (5-9, 2-0 Big West) has won four straight games, including two to start conference play, after wins against Long Beach State and Cal Poly at home last week. CSUN (8-7, 1-0 Big West) opened conference play with a two-point victory against Cal State Fullerton.
