UCSB's legendary coach, Kathy Gregory, reached her 850th career victory when UCSB defeated North Dakota on Friday. "The Queen" is one of just six coaches to accomplish the feat and her 852 career wins are sixth-most of any Division I coach and the third-most amongst active coaches. Gregory ranks 10th in all-time victories across all divisions, according to the NCAA.

• They Can Dig It
As a team UCSB is averaging 16.79 digs per set, which ranks the Gauchos first in the Big West. Senior libero Chelsey Lowe leads the conference in digs, averaging 5.15 per set.

• Low Blows
Including Stacey Schmidt's .336 hitting percentage – which is fourth in the Big West – the Gauchos are swinging a collective .166, which ranks them seventh amongst the nine conference teams. UCSB is holding its opponents to a .179 hitting percentage.

Senior Stacey Schmidt is leading the Gauchos with her 3.50 kills per set, ranking her seventh in the Big West. The Huntington Beach, Calif. native has set career-bests in digs and block assists this year and has hit at least .300 in five of Santa Barbara's nine matches.

• Block Party
As a team UCSB is averaging 2.18 blocks per set, which is fourth in the Big West. UCSB is led by Stacey Schmidt (1.06, fifth in the Big West) and Lily Lopez (1.00, eighth). Middle blocker Jenna Wilson has also been a force averaging 0.84 blocks and leads the team with six solo blocks.

• The Lowe Down
Senior libero Chelsey Lowe is having a tremendous start to her final campaign. The Yorba Linda, Calif. native is averaging a Big West-leading 5.78 digs per set and has at least 20 digs in six of the Gauchos' nine matches. Lowe has scooped up 929 digs in her career, and has a chance to break into UCSB's career top-10 by season's end. Currently, Liz Towne (1985-88) ranks 10th with 1,256 career digs.

• A Sherr Thing
Sophomore Kara Sherrard was one of two Gauchos – Schmidt was the other – to record double-digit kills this past weekend. Sherrard totaled 41 kills in the three matches and is averaging 2.76 kills per set, which is third on the team. She is also averaging 1.94 digs per set, also good for third.

• Double Dipper
In six of the Gauchos nine matches this season – this coming after she missed all of last year due to a torn ACL – Leah Sully has recorded a double-double. On the season the sophomore from Irvine, Calif. is averaging 3.09 kills and 3.62 digs per set – both ranking second on the team.

• Coming Up Aces
The Gauchos are averaging 1.15 aces per set, ranking them third in the Big West. Schmidt and Sully lead the team with 0.29 per set, which ranks them fifth in the conference.

• Nielson Ratings
Freshman setter Hanna Nielson is averaging 9.97 assists per set, which ranks her fifth among all conference setters.
