2018: Played in 12 matches and 39 sets as a redshirt freshman … Made an immediate impact in his first season and was named to the inaugural Big West All-Freshman Team … Had a UCSB debut to remember with a season-high 15 kills on a .524 hitting percentage against Saint Francis (Jan. 5) during the Asics Invitational … Finished the season with 69 kills (1.77 kills per set), 35 total blocks and a .356 hitting percentage … Ranked second on the team with a 0.90 blocks per set average … Reached double-digit kills with 11 while hitting .588 (11-1-17) vs. Long Beach State on Mar. 16 … Had his third double-digit kill match for the year when he slammed down 10 vs. CSUN on Mar. 31 … Tallied a season-best six total blocks on three separate occasions: at Pepperdine (Jan. 20), vs. Pepperdine (Feb. 21) and vs. CSUN (Mar. 31).
