2009: Played in 20 games as a freshman...Posted six goals during the season...Had a four-game scoring streak between Sept. 5 and Sept. 9 in which he scored five of his six goals...First two career goals came in an 18-2 win over Cal Lutheran (Sept. 5) at the Triton Invite...Scored in a narrow 8-7 win over Pepperdine (Sept. 6)...One of just three Gauchos to score in a loss to USC (Sept. 6)...Posted the game-winning goal in the Oct. 4 overtime victory against Concordia...Dished out three assists...Also tallied seven steals, two earned ejections and two field blocks.

Attended Saint Francis High School where he played under head coach Terry O'Donnell...In 2008, he was named a Sixth Team All-California All-American after leading his team with 81 goals...Was a two-time First Team All-Western Catholic Athletic League selection and All-San Jose Mercury News honoree...He twice earned All-Central Coast Section accolades, collecting first team honors as a junior and second team honors as senior...Helped lead his team to the Central Coast Section Championship as a senior...The Lancers were CCS semifinalists in 2006 and finalists in 2007...Also earned Second Team All-NorCal distinction.
