2017-2018 Track

Competed in eight meets for his first season in the Gaucho uniform. Had a solid double at the 40th Annual Aztec Invitational running 3:57.24 for 1500m and 1:55.06 for 800m. Took 5th place at the Big West Challenge in the 1500m running 3:56.86. Set a personal best for 1500m at the Bryan Clay Invitational with a time of 3:54.22. Finished off the season by scoring at the Big West Conference Championships in the 1500m with a 5th place finish clocking 3:57.76.

2017 Cross Country

Redshirt season. Ran a personal 8k time of 25:06.9 to finish 19th overall at the Titan Invitational. 


Attended Scripps Ranch High School where he was a two time individual qualifier for the state meet twice in division two cross country and once in track. Ended up breaking school records in the 1600m (held by former Gaucho and current 1500m school record holder Shyan Vaziri), 3200m, and cross country 5000m. Coached by Chuck Warren and Dean FleddarJohn. 


Parents are Victor and Christine Barr...Majoring in Economics...plans to purse a challenging/interesting job in the business field after receiving his degree...athletic goals are to become a major contributor to the team and to run at his fullest potential...hobbies inclue soccer, longboarding, and listening to fact: would not wear pants save on formal occasions until his senior year of high school.
