Redshirt season. 

2017 Cross Country

Competed in five meets for his first season as a Gaucho. Finished as the No. 2 scorer at the UC Riverside Invitational where he finished 53rd in 25:07.9. Took the No. 2 scoring position again at the Bill Dellinger Invitational where he set a new personal best of 24:51.8 to finish 74th. Took 21st at the Big West Conference Championships with a time of 25:11.0. Closed things out with a 31:41.8 for 10k at the NCAA West Regional Meet where he finished 105th as the No. 3 scorer. 


Graduate of El Molino High School. Qualified for the CIF State Meet all four years as an individual, his career high at third place in 15:39 for division five. Coached by Ryan Hopkins and Harold Schulz. 


Parents are Harold and Jeannine Schulz...Majoring in Environmental Sciences...goal is to, "be the best there is, because if you aren't first, you're last"...hobbies include gardening, fishing, hunting, shooting, whiddling, hiking, and swimming, and fact: won superheavyweight hampshire class as well as novice showmanship in rookie debut showing market lambs at the Sonoma County Fair; 4h group also won best in show for market lambs overall.
