The Gauchos were on their home pitch as they took on the Tigers of the University of the Pacific. The team in white scored first, causing UC Santa Barbara to play from behind early in the game. However, a goal from Meg Burling in the second half of the game gave her team the equalizer to come out of its final non-conference contest with a tie.
