Latest COVID-19 Protocols (updated Nov. 8, 2021)


In accordance with the California Department of Public Health (CDPH), regarding COVID-19, UC Santa Barbara athletic indoor events will require all spectators in attendance to:

  • Show proof of their full vaccination status, OR...
  • Provide a pre-entry negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of the start of the event before entry

Students, Faculty and Staff may use their campus issued "Daily Badge" following completion of the symptom screening survey. Face coverings are required for all indoor events.

 

Prohibited Items


The following items are prohibited at all UCSB Intercollegiate Athletics events and venues:

  • Alcohol
  • Artificial noisemakers (allowed at Big West soccer games, excluding whistles and canned air horns)
  • Backpacks, large bags, luggage (anything over 14" x 14" x 6")
  • Balloons
  • Balls (sport or beach balls)
  • Bicycles (please park bikes in designated areas outside of venues)
  • Cameras with flash photography or video cameras (unless previously approved by UCSB Athletics Communications)
  • Cans or glass bottles
  • Illegal substances
  • Large banners, flags, and signs
  • Laser pointers
  • Lawn chairs or furniture
  • Outside food and beverage
  • Pets (with the exception of service animals)
  • Skateboards
  • Weapons of any kind (knives, firearms, sharp instruments)
